If you're looking for a football warm-up drill to use when space is limited, the step jumps warm-up is a good one to try.
Set up football warm-up drill
Set out a row of cones for this simple fitness warm-up drill. Your players will have to use their muscles and make an effort. The aim is to jump over plastic cones and back again in this exercise.

Step jumps warm-up
- Stand beside a cone or soft object to be cleared.
- Bring the knees up and jump vertically, but also laterally, off the ground and over the marker.
- Land on both feet and jump back in the other direction.
- Ground contact time should be minimal. Players should not dip into a full squat position.
- Repeat the drill for 15 seconds and a total of six sets.
- Rest 30 seconds between sets.
